Excerpt from a discussion on the Victory forum, the Neil by the way is Neil Zimmerman, our friend from The 84th Minute site:
Paul: There may be a heritage overlay on the precinct, but not on the stand itself. Considering they're 'supposed' to start work in May next year there's a reassuring lack of detail about the project that's been released to the public.
Neil: That's highly unlikely. They haven't appointed an architect for the job. My firm is in the running for the job and we haven't heard yay or nay in terms of appointments.Paul: There may be a heritage overlay on the precinct, but not on the stand itself. Considering they're 'supposed' to start work in May next year there's a reassuring lack of detail about the project that's been released to the public.
Meanwhile a South insider, after being questioned about the veracity of the info, relayed some different information, claiming they've had the architects visit the joint already. Hmm.

A few notes on comments.
We've had a lot of fun over the years with my freewheeling comments policy, but all good things must come to an end. Therefore I will no longer be approving comments that contain personal abuse of any sort.
Still, if your post doesn't get approved straight away, it's probably because I haven't seen it yet.
As usual, publication of a comment does not mean endorsement of its content.
