Next two matches postponed
With a seven day covid lockdown in place in Victoria from midnight tonight, our next two scheduled matches - the men's and women's league double-header on Saturday, and the senior men's cup game on Wednesday - have been postponed.
If the lockdown last the full seven days, there's some suggestion that the next week's games could also be postponed/rescheduled, because players haven't been training.
And besides which, rather than easing our injury concerns, we might have them compounded by a more condensed schedule.
We've had a lot of fun over the years with my freewheeling comments policy, but all good things must come to an end. Therefore I will no longer be approving comments that contain personal abuse of any sort.
Still, if your post doesn't get approved straight away, it's probably because I haven't seen it yet.
As usual, publication of a comment does not mean endorsement of its content.
Ahhh .... I thought it was going to be played behind closed doors
ReplyDeletebtw ... postponed games could not have come at a better time with our injury toll growing!

Lets hope Wallen is back at least. Any news?
DeleteLast I heard is that the injury has healed, but that the doctor needs to sign off on his returning to action.
