OK spread it I dont care :) It has a few errors.

Yeah the Pan Hellenic book is mainly recollections by ex players & officials. The Sydney United Book is great & contains some elusive NSW premiership tables & great retro logos (I love that crap).

JHAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7503414687298565438.post-86580217049968147392013-11-25T15:32:05.526+11:002013-11-25T15:32:05.526+11:00I think your best bet would be to contact Green Gu...I think your best bet would be to contact Green Gully or the publisher directly.

http://sesasport.com/?page_id=20

It was put out by Roy Hay's company, so if he doesn't respond, let me know and I'll give him a call.

Or failing that maybe trying to contact Melbourne Sports Books, or my local shop of choice for new books (and special orders), Readers Feast on Collins Street.

I might be mistaken, but I believe that the Pan Hellenic book is mostly a collection of articles without the kind of in depth interviews and historical research that this book has. The South Hobart book (of which I have a spare copy) does much the same thing.

I don't have a copy of the Sydney Croatia book, but I believe it is an absolute corker. There is a very, very large Footscray JUST manuscript somewhere out there, but it is in Serbian (reputedly Latin script).

I did not know there was a thesis on ES Hakoah - do you know when/where it was completed?Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03206486881622385464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7503414687298565438.post-84774893326179500952013-11-25T12:59:59.009+11:002013-11-25T12:59:59.009+11:00any idea if this book can still be purchased???
